Sarah Lane Home was born from resilience, necessity, and a mother’s determination to create a healthier home for her family.

In my late 30s, I found myself newly divorced and starting over as a single mother of four children. Life looked very different than I had planned, and I was searching for ways to rebuild while providing a safe and stable home for my family.

During that time, I began making candles and natural cleaning products for two simple reasons. First, I needed to reduce household expenses wherever I could. Second, my children struggled with allergies, and I wanted products in our home that were gentler, safer, and made with ingredients I could trust.

What started as a small solution for my own family quickly became something more meaningful.

Not long after, I faced another difficult season. I lost my job, my vehicle, and eventually the home I had worked so hard to provide for my children. It was a time filled with uncertainty, but also a time that taught me resilience and the importance of starting again.

Slowly, life began to come back together. I entered a new chapter in my life with a supportive partner, two of my children had grown into adulthood, and I welcomed my first grandchild into the world.

It was during this time that my children and my partner encouraged me to share the products I had been making. They believed in what I had created, even during moments when I doubted myself. Their encouragement gave me the courage to take the first step.

Sarah Lane Home is the result of that step.

Today, we create thoughtfully crafted candles and natural home products designed to bring warmth, comfort, and cleaner living into everyday spaces. Each product is inspired by the idea that the home should be a place where families feel safe, calm, and cared for.

More than anything, Sarah Lane Home represents the belief that even the smallest step forward can lead to something meaningful and lasting.
